Dear Parrot Heads,
We hope you will join the Parrot Head Club of Richmond for the 13th annual
*Stars on the Water* weekend party in Richmond, VA, August 24-26, 2007.
*Stars* is our biggest and most ambitious party/fund raiser of the year, and we
need YOUR participation to help make it successful.
Featuring: Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band, the Sunny Jim Band, the
Calypso Nuts, Scott Kirby, John Frinzi, and *The Wrest.

Friday, 4:00 - 11:00 p.m.: Cheeseburger in Paradise Poolside Party with
shows by John Frinzi and the Sunny Jim Band! Food and beverages included.
Saturday, 10 a.m - 5 p.m.
: Poolside entertainment with our friends the CalypsoNuts and Jim Morris and
the Big Bamboo Band! Lunch and beverages included. Parrot head fun and
games, great raffle and door prizes!
Saturday evening, 6:00 - 11:00: Keep your dancin' shoes on, because The
Wrest is going to keep us entertained in true party style - outside by the pool!
Tropical buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres included. Cash bar.
Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.: Scott Kirby singing all of our favorites!
Joining Scott will be Dave Edmiston and Emily Leader. Delectable brunch
included. Cash bar with mimosa and bloody mary specials.
*All of the weekend's activities will be held poolside, weather permitting.

*Stars* Hotel Information:
For the twelfth straight year, we're returning to our home away from home,
the Holiday Inn Central on the Boulevard - and these fine folks are reserving
the entire hotel just for US! Rooms are available at the parrot head group
rate of $72.00 per room per night, plus tax.
Important Hotel Procedure: In order to reserve your room at the Holiday Inn,
you must first register for *Stars.* You will be contacted by the Holiday
Inn in the order of registration to reserve your room. No exceptions!! NOTE: If
you request a balcony room, you will be expected to decorate it! Many Stars'
guests have waited years for the chance to show off their decorating skills,
and we get fussed at when balconies are left naked - and cool balconies add
to the festive atmosphere.
Registration Info:
We will close registration on August 17 or when we hit 275 people, whichever
comes first, and Stars has sold out the past four years. Island time is
cool, but we'd hate for you to miss out on all the phun!

*Please note: *Stars* is an adult party, and as much as we hate imposing
this restriction we ask that you not bring children with you, or if you must,
that you make arrangements for them to remain outside the party area on Friday
and Saturday. 21 years of age and older, please.
*Canine companions: The Holiday Inn is a pet-friendly hotel, and we're dog
lovers, too, but the area around the pool gets very congested. Please plan on
keeping your dogs outside the pool fence, for their safety as well as that of
our guests. We appreciate your cooperation.

reached more than just your hotel destination, you're at the party!
Everything happens right here, and the Holiday Inn Central offers a perfect setting
with its friendly, casual atmosphere and lots of rooms overlooking the pool and
all the goings-on. Park your car, unpack your bags, and relax! We'll even
provide your transportation to and from the airport or train station if you
need a ride. Besides being welcomed by our club members who are truly happy to
see you, you'll be treated to full-length shows by all of our entertainers,
and your food (Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday brunch) and beverages
(Friday night and Saturday poolside) are included in your registration fee.
We'll have tempting raffle prizes, too. We think you'll agree -- *Stars*
